What is Hive's Service Like After Warranty?

Warranties are essential to any service or product. They ensure that you, the client, are taken care of long after the final purchase. Hive, a premier home automation company, knows the importance of addressing this issue.

All that beautiful landscaping would be overgrown and dying. Then, you would be right back at square one, paying someone even more money to come reshapes your lawn.

We treat each of our clients with respect and our warranties are no different. We have 4 different levels of Hive Care service plans for our customers. 

What is Hive’s Service Warranty?

There is a 30-day warranty on the labor for any installation. From product malfunction to client education, Hive is there to help. Free, Hive will arrive on the scene ready to address any issues that may arise.

Exeperincing issues after the 30-days? No worries! Hive has introduced a series of service plans, fit for all your system needs. This service has many great benefits, like granting you the ability to reset your own system, proactive monitoring, and discounted service calls. 

What is Hive Care? 

Hive Care is our unique collection of service plans, made to fit your system needs. Whether it's a small business or a mansion, Hive is here to protect your system, and give you the utmost care that you deserve. From an elite, all-inclusive package to a limited, pay-as-you-go plan, there’s a service plan to fit your personal and financial needs.

  • Limited
    • A pay-as-you-go program, where Hive rolls a truck with each service call you submit.
  • Essential
    • The Hive Care Essential Plan includes 24/7 Email, Text, and Chat support. You'll receive access to an app called OvrC that will help you to fix many of the common issues that technology systems experience. The Essential Plan includes Reactive Remote Repair. This means that upon hearing from you, your system will be accessed remotely and oftentimes repaired without a service call. Finally, if we can't fix the issue remotely, you'll receive a discount rate of 10% on your service call.
  • Priority
    • The Hive Care Priority Plan includes all components of the Essential Plan plus Proactive Monitoring. This means we can troubleshoot potential issues before they arise. It also includes 24/7 Phone Support with a live answer by one of our knowledgeable technicians. Finally, as a member of the Priority plan, you'll receive Priority Service! We'll prioritize you to the front of the line and you’ll receive 20% off our normal on-site rates if we cannot solve your issue remotely. 
  • Elite
    • With our Hive Care Elite Plan, in addition to all the parts of the above service plans, we will also come out once a year and tune up the system. We'll make sure everything is working well, do any firmware updates, manage any wires, and recommend any updates needed. Finally, we'll make sure all the lenses on the cameras are clean and focused, and we’ll go around and make sure every piece of equipment is working properly. This level of Hive Care also includes same-day on-site service (premium rates apply). Need more benefits? Elite Plan members receive a 30% on service calls.
