While 2020 has been a hard year filled with sacrifice and change; it has also been a great opportunity to spend time at home with family doing activities such as making puzzles, doing arts and crafts, learning TikTok dances, and yes, watching many many movies. The uncertainty surrounding going to the movies during a pandemic has opened a great space for at-home theaters to thrive. The beauty of an at-home theater is that it can be whatever you want it to be. From a simple “out of the box” set up to an entirely full theater experience, our team can design and install the ideal theater setup with your lifestyle and preferences in mind.
1. The Out of Box Theater
“Out of Box” theaters are perfect for the do-it-yourself client who are looking for an affordable home theater but aren’t afraid of doing some simple handy-work. These theaters are offered at great price points but require the ability to do some basic wiring and set up of your TV’s receivers. Are you a tad confused yet attracted to this set up? You can contact your local AV company and ask for an install only price per hour and they should be able to help you. Most of the time these home theaters will have a big screen TV as viewing source and be in a living room or designated TV viewing area.
2. The Bonus Room Theater
The Bonus Room is an upgrade from our Out of Box setup. This is because it includes a 5.1 surround sound meaning it has 4 in-ceiling speakers, one sound bar in the front for the room, and a subwoofer for that movie theater bass. This set up also includes a projector and projector screen to play movies and TV shows from. Bonus Room Theaters are very popular because of their price point to theater experience ratio. The price for a fully installed Bonus Room Theater starts at $6500.
3. The Theater Room
If you’re looking for that out-of-body, on another planet, completely euphoric entertainment experience; the Theater Room set-up is the one for you. The whole entire purpose of the classic and beautiful “Theater Room” is to make you feel that surreal and almost nostalgic movie experience. This set up typically includes 4 or 8K projectors, movie-theater seating, True THX (movie theater speakers) in a 7.1 set-up. This style of home theaters is for the ambitious entertainers who are not afraid to pay a starting price of $21,000 for a truly unbelievable set up.
